Privacy Policy
We're a junk removal company, not a data company. This page says exactly what we collect, why, and how to make us delete it.
The short version
We collect your name, phone number, ZIP code and a description of the job — because we can't price or schedule hauling without them. It goes to our own dispatch system, not a lead broker. We don't sell it, we don't advertise to you with it, and this site runs no analytics and no tracking pixels. The estimate form may show a Cloudflare bot check, which is there to keep automated junk out of our queue, not to follow you around. The tool is for adults: you confirm you are 18 or older before it will send, and nothing is stored without that. One thing to know: if you get partway through and leave after confirming your age, a name, phone number and ZIP still reach us so we can follow up. Ask us to delete your information and we will.
1. Who we are
Lewis-Clark Junk Removal ("LCJR", "we", "us") is a junk removal business serving the Lewis-Clark Valley. The business is owned and operated by Hewcore Corp., and the entity responsible for this policy is Lewis-Clark Junk Removal LLC.
This policy covers the website at lcjr.com and the information you send us when you ask for a quote or book a job.
2. What we collect
What you enter in the estimate tool
The tool on our quote page runs in three steps, and this is everything it takes:
- Your ZIP code — asked first, so we can tell you straight away whether we cover your area before you fill anything else in.
- Your name and phone number — required, because we have to be able to reach you with a price.
- Email address — optional. Leave it blank if you'd rather we only call or text.
- Street address and city — optional at this stage, but it saves a phone call later.
- Load size and any special items — which truck fraction you picked, and counts of things like mattresses, tires or appliances. We also keep the estimate figure you were shown, so a supervisor can see the same number you saw.
- What needs hauling — a free-text description. Whatever you choose to put here comes to us, so only include what you want us to have.
- Access details — where the items are, flights of stairs, where the truck can park, and any notes you add such as a gate code or a dog in the yard.
- Timing — how soon you need it gone.
- Whether it's for a business — commercial jobs are billed differently.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the date you gave it. The tool will not send without this — see Age, and why we ask.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license, or any financial account details. The estimate tool never takes payment — there is no card field anywhere on this site. If a form or a caller ever asks you for those while claiming to be us, it isn't us.
If you start the form and don't finish it
Worth being straight about: once you have given us a name, phone number and ZIP code, we send that much to our dispatch system even if you close the page without finishing. It gets flagged as incomplete, and a supervisor may call to ask what you needed.
We do this because a half-finished request usually means somebody still wants their junk gone. If you'd rather we forget it, call or email and we'll delete it — see Your choices below.
What you tell us another way
Plenty of our work starts with a phone call, a text, or an Instagram message. When it does, we end up with whatever you sent: your phone number, the content of your messages, and any photos of the pile or the property you send to help us price the job.
What we need to actually do the work
Once a job is booked, we need the service address and enough access detail to turn up and find the stuff. If you didn't give it through the website, a supervisor takes it over the phone.
What the website itself records
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, the pages requested, timestamps, and browser type. That happens automatically for any website; we don't use those logs to build a profile of you.
3. How we use it
We use what you send for the job and nothing else. Specifically:
- To work out a price and get back to you with it.
- To schedule the pickup and find the property.
- To contact you about that job — running late, a question about an item, a confirmation when it's done.
- To invoice you, and for commercial accounts, to keep per-visit records.
- To keep the records a business is required to keep, such as for taxes.
We do not sell your information. We don't rent, trade or share it with data brokers, lead-generation services, or advertisers. We won't add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
4. Cookies, analytics and tracking
We set no cookies of our own. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no third-party chat widget. Nothing here follows you between sites, and we build no profile of you.
Two things do load from other companies, and both are worth naming plainly.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load their typefaces. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and basic request information, the same as any file your browser fetches from another server. If that matters to you, the fonts can be self-hosted instead — tell us and we will do it.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. The estimate form may show a bot check from Cloudflare. It exists to stop automated junk reaching our dispatch queue, and it is not an advertising or analytics tool: Cloudflare states it does not use it to track people across sites. To do its job it receives your IP address, your browser and device characteristics, and signals about how the page was interacted with, and it may store a short-lived token or cookie in your browser to remember that the check passed. We never see those signals — only whether the check came back good. Turnstile is not on every page, and when it is switched off nothing is loaded from Cloudflare for it at all.
Our site and our dispatch system are both hosted on Cloudflare, so Cloudflare also handles the ordinary request logs any web host keeps. Google and Cloudflare each handle what they receive under their own privacy policies, not ours.
5. Who else sees it
Your information stays with the people who need it to get your junk hauled:
- Our crew. Whoever is running your job sees your name, address, phone number and what needs moving.
- Our own dispatch system. Estimate requests go straight into the software we use to run jobs, which is operated by Hewcore Corp. for us and hosted on Cloudflare. It is staff-only — there is no customer login and no public view of it. No third-party lead service sits in the middle.
- Ordinary service providers. Our web host, our email and phone providers, and — for commercial accounts — our bookkeeping and invoicing tools. They handle the data to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it. If we receive a valid legal demand, or we need to establish or defend a legal claim, we may have to disclose information.
If the business is ever sold or merged, customer records could transfer as part of it. The buyer would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.
6. Job photos and social media
We take before-and-after photos of our work, and we post some of them to Instagram. We stick to the pile and the space — we don't publish your name, your address, or anything identifying, and we don't photograph the inside of your home beyond what's being removed.
If you'd rather we didn't photograph your job at all, just say so. Tell the crew or mention it when you book, and that's the end of it. If something of yours is already posted and you want it taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
7. How long we keep it
Quote requests that never turn into a job get cleared out once they're clearly stale. Records for completed jobs — invoices, what we hauled, what you paid — we keep as long as tax and accounting rules require. Text and email threads stay in the phone and mailbox they arrived in until they're deleted in the normal course.
8. Your choices
No matter what state you're in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we have. We'll describe the information we hold about you.
- Correct it. Wrong phone number, misspelled name — tell us and we'll fix it.
- Delete it. We'll delete what we're not legally required to keep. Records tied to a completed, paid job may have to stay for tax purposes.
- Stop contacting you. Reply STOP to a text, or tell us directly.
Email contact@hewcore.com or call (208) 503-6307 and we'll take care of it. We may need to confirm you're the person the information belongs to before we act. There's no charge, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights beyond these. If you believe you have one we haven't honored, contact us and we'll sort it out.
9. How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the quote form is encrypted in transit. Access to the inbox and phone that receive your requests is limited to people who need it.
We're a small local business, not a bank, and we'd rather be straight with you than make promises we can't back: no system is perfectly secure. That's part of why we don't ask for financial or government ID information in the first place — the safest data is the data nobody collected.
10. Age, and why we ask
This service is for adults. Hiring us means agreeing to a price, letting a crew onto a property, and deciding that things get thrown away — none of which is a minor's decision to make. So the estimate tool asks you to confirm you are 18 or older before it will send anything, and it will not submit without that box ticked.
That confirmation is not decoration. The check runs on our server as well as in your browser, so a request without it is refused before any of your details are written down. We keep the date you confirmed it, alongside the job.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we have no interest in holding it. If you believe a minor has sent us their details — through the form, by text, or any other way — tell us and we will delete what we have. No explanation needed, and we won't ask you to prove anything.
Separately, and because the law is specific about it: this site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
One thing this section is not about: some of our own crew are under 18. That is employment, governed by labour law and handled in our internal systems, and nothing about it appears on this website or in what we collect from customers.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information — adding analytics, say, or a new booking tool — we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes won't be applied retroactively to information already collected without telling you.
